Season is 16 episodes long. We get 8 episodes now, and 8 episodes sometime in the spring/summer 2010.

It's kind of funny that at the Anime Convention, Doc Hammer and Jason Publick were kind of shocked that people were more interested in the death of #24 than Brock leaving.

Hard to say isn't it? Part of the shows appeal is that they're not really predictable, the downside is at times they do things to their characters you don't like.

At the end of the last season, Brock said he was "Done" with this, or i can't remember the right wording, but it appeared he either Quit the O.S.I, or being Rusty's Body guard, or both.

Why reduce costs...? It's not like it's an expensive cartoon, though they do at times enlist big name vocal talent. I don't think their idea of reducing cost lead to cutting out Brock, that's not a way to make a successful show. I'm sure it's as other ppl said, to be unpredictable and he was shown in the preview, just in one very brief clip. So he will be there, but the amount of Sgt Hatred in the previews makes me think he is taking over as Rusty's bodyguard

and yeah, Brock was shown in the preview for season 4, so he'll mak an appearance sooner or later. Hank was also shown looking alot like Brock as well
