Razer Black Widow Keyboard
A couple months ago, I bought a Black Widow. About 2 weeks later, my C key start responding half the time. I send it back, get a nw one.
Fast forward a month, now the e key does it. What are the odds of me gtting 2 faulty keyboards back to back?
I assume astronomically low, so i'm wondring could it be a drivr problm somewher?
(Halfway through the post I stopped trying to put e whr thr should be so you can gt an idea of how oftn this happens and why i'm pissed)

There's been a ton of people who've had problems with the quality of the BlackWidow. It is pretty strange that your e key was the one that stopped working twice, but I wouldn't be surprised that the keyboard was faulty twice. I had one that worked fine for 6 months or so and then several keys at once stopped responding. Razer uses company called iOne to produce their BlackWidow and their quality control is not very good. You should return it and get something made by the manufacturer Costar. Good examples in the same price range could be a Filco Majestouch 2, Ducky or a WASD V1 if you're looking for fullsize. If you're okay getting a tenkeyless, the best value is probably CM Storm Quickfire Rapid.

I've got two black widows, one for home and one for work. Occasionally when I'm typing, a letter or number that is nowhere near where I'm typing will appear in the text.
This happens on both of them.

I guess it's time to switch to another brand then. Sucks that you can't trust a company lik razr for kyboards

Most "gaming" peripheral companies have some sort of issues with them, Razer is is pretty bad at QA though and their synapse 2.0 cloud storage has been creating a bit of a backlash on a few forums. Personally I wouldn't trust them with anything <.<

You didn't buy their super ultimate beta deluxe edition keyboard that's why.
I own a few razer products and they quirk every now and then, megalodon stops playing sound or whines because it hates its own volume box, my naga sometimes goes crazy and wont move up or down but will move every other direction.

I've had a Black Widow Elite for over a year now and haven't run into any issues like this. I suppose I may just be one of the lucky ones though as I have heard people complain about quality issues in the past.

If you need illumination on a mechanical, go Deck. A bit expensive, but man are they built tough. They're also the brightest backlit keyboard on the market I believe.
If you don't need illumination in a backlit, Amarok's post is pretty good.
3 things I've talked to death on this board, keyboards, monitors, and fucking headphones/headsets.
