CCDC competition complete shitfest this year

So my college was competing in the CCDC event this year, a cyber security competition that goes on every year. Was a complete disaster, they had a new method of doing it this year where we all had to SSH/RDP into actual physical machines to set them up and do basic tasks while keeping a red cell team out. 20mins into the event the website listing all of our flags and injects crashed and was down for 2hrs, after 2hrs it came up for 5mins then went back down for another 10, when it was finally up we had 10 whole minutes to accomplish our 50 tasks that we couldnt look at during the entire time to prepare ourselves for.

They then extended the event a whole "20 mins" to compensate for the 2.5hrs we lost, we had no dialogue from the Administrators of the event, the web admins for threatspace in the IRC channel werent saying shit. So fucking pissed about the whole thing right now.

Pretty much, considering all the colleges pay to be part of this event anyways. We filed a complaint with the head guy of the entire organization that does the contests and he said he's going to debrief his staff and get back to us, so hopefully they just reschedule it all.
