I'm going to fuck this up because it's been awhile but:

1. All races have been enslaved at one point in history.

2. Women are very good slaves because they quickly adapt to conquerors. This is bred into their history because for the human race to survive people needed to procreate and for the majority of human history men came to villages and killed the other men and took the women. If women were unable to adapt to that situation, then the human race wouldn't have grown, so they adapted. This is most apparent in modern society/relationships with the amount of time women need to get over a relationship (very little). It can also be seen at other times as well and may play a role in what happened in this jail.
