    Power line vs Wifi

    I'll be moving soon, and there is no plausible way to run a cord up to the room my computer will be in. Which would be a better option for multi-boxing FFXI....torrents....etc. Is a powerline adapter better than wifi?

    As far as i know, it varies greatly. The powerline adapters work fairly well in certain situations, but terribly in others. Same thing for wifi really.

    Look into MoCA... I would recommend that over powerline any day.

    I was in the same boat but I had to powerline because I was so far away from the source.

    It kinda gets choppy at times in the winter - I'm told it's because of the cold.

    how is there no plausible way to run a cord? are your floors and walls made of concrete or steel?

    I'm moving into a 1.9 million dollar house with my uncle, drilling or running a cable through the house isn't even in talk with him
