all videos and such on it are early Alpha, can download the launcher and play some Alpha gameplay, I really hope this gets fleshed out, it could be so awesome :D

maybe so, but maybe if the fanbase makes a huge fuss over something like this, Nintendo will finally get the idea this is what we want :D

Yeah, there's no way this will survive. Best case (and probably farfetched), Nintendo makes their own, but there's no chance they'll let someone else make this game.

A friend of mine showed this to me a while back. I must say, it looks pretty impressive so far:
I would LOVE to see a Pokemon MMO done in this style, with all the areas from the other games to explore. I know I'd play the shit out of it...

But yeah, somehow I fear Nintendo's gonna get butthurt about this and shut it down. It'd be awesome if they supported this guy's work, though.
