Libra Eorzea App Now Available for iOS! (09/10/2013)

The Libra Eorzea app is now available on the iTunes App Store, putting a wealth of knowledge in the palm of your hand. Use this app to view information on your character, your free company and linkshell members, and others adventurers across the realm. Libra Eorzea also includes an extensive database of all in-game items, quests, and much more, which can be accessed offline. It's the perfect companion for your adventures in Eorzea.

A lot, if not all, of the info present there is already provided by XIVDB, along with further usability, what with crafting material linking and what not. The NQ/HQ stats were a nice touch, but I can't see how xivdb won't adopt that in time, along with all the other stuff they already have, and potential to have. It would seem to me SE wouldn't provide a lot of that in hopes of preventing the user from having Too Much information on their hands. You'd think otherwise no? Time will tell.

Fan sites can usually do better than official sources but most people are lazy and stick with the official source. You only have to look how popular the OFs are to see that. They pretty much killed the forums on other sites when that launched. Their DB will certainly make XIVDB and my own less popular among the masses.

I'm more looking forward to their API and web based versions. Right now trying to make use of Lodestone data is a pain.
