Titan Challenge
Form a party of eight and do battle with the primal Titan in this event refined especially for TGS. Those who defeat the mighty Lord of Crags before time expires will earn themselves a T-shirt commemorating their victory!

Cactuar Lottery
Each time Titan falls, all players from a randomly chosen World will receive a pair of cactuar earrings. Fight bravely, that those not fortunate enough to attend the event might reap the fruits of your heroic deeds!

So why is this at TGS, but didn't happen at PAX? They had they Titan challenge too.
How many Titan fights happened at PAX? I'm willing to be if it's a lot they'll just end up saying "Earrings for everyone!", but if not, and it only applied to JP servers.. good going Yoshi, keep those XI JP onry event rewards up. We need to continue tradition.

Titan fights happened all day every day while SE was there. There were 3 victories while I was in the room waiting (an hour) to meet Yoshi-P. This game show will have Titan fights going on for potentially 14 hours, so plenty of time for most servers to get chosen.

Battle is refined for the event maybe it'll be harder than normal? Also this is great for those that didn't get the moogle earrings from buying that expensive FF collection last year, which is like everyone!

It'll probably be the exact same as story fight, except you can enter with 8 instead of 4. Maybe more HP on Titan and heart.

Although if it was just hard mode it would be hilarious. No T-shirts for you!

It won't be hard mode but it won't be story mode either. Some people who have tried the battle at Gamescom said that the in-game version was "nerfed" so I'm assuming the event Titan is slightly harder.

I had read that it was harder than standard MSQ Titan, but easier than Titan (Hard).

You all are fooling yourselves if you believe that they won't eventually give out the earrings to all servers. Can you imagine the delicious tears on the OF if they didn't?
