I just finished watching this movie and I thought it was amazing. The pacing was horrible, but the entire story was a completely hit in my opinion. It was very satisfying from beginning to end and left nothing to imagination.

I've always heard that Bale's the type of actor to actually gain/lose the weight/muscle (ala Tyrath's image), so I wouldn't be surprised if he gained the weight for this role and then lost it immediately for the next.
