tl;dr:
Apparently, if you're running a Chinese OS and you try to jailbreak using this new tool, it will install a Chinese pirate app store instead of Cydia. Rumors has it the evad3rs team were paid $1 million to do this.
The jailbreak code is also close sourced, and heavily obfuscated, so it is unclear if it's safe to jailbreak or not.

Best course of action is to not jailbreak until there's a "clean" release. Better safe than sorry.
