I had a slight curiosity being if it were to be a shameless Smash Bros clone, or try to do something like MVC. Other than that, and seeing how horrific the last mascot-game Sony published went (Playstation Move Heroes), I wasn't that interested.

Oh gosh it's real and it looks like a exact clone of SSBB. Uhh don't think sony has enough memorable mascots to make this a huge success. E3 going to be fucking good this year though with shit like this, Dust 514, FFXIV 2.0, Vita games, Wii U gimmicks, Nintendo rehashes, Kinect gymnastic center w/ innovating leotard that detects body movement and sweat analysis.
Think they should have invested on making saturday morning cartoons with kratos and friends first.

Sony has quite a few mascots they can use. Other than those confirmed we have Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Drake, Crash, Spyro, Lara Croft, etc.
Some of them aren't Sony characters but I bet the third party characters will include some of them on top of FF and RE characters+ others.
Hopefully we get a lot more info at E3.

I have this game. I think its called Super Smash Bros Brawl.
I mean I guess its cool and all, don't think id spend 60 bucks on this when I already have SSBB.

Wouldn't surprise me if every character cameo from this video isn't in the final product. Also agreed on the bad lighting necessitating the horrible character outlines. There was a reason Brawl and most 3d fighters are bright and colourful.
