Thread: Two questions     submit to reddit submit to twitter

    Two questions

    Yesterday a file by the name of gkojfkhlekighikafcpjkiklfbnlmeio_9508.crx appeared on my desktop. A quick google search tells me it's a Chrome extension, which I did download holo extension yesterday, but then removed it. Thing is, every time I delete this file it comes back. Any idea why, or how to permanently get rid of it?

    My pc has: I5-3570k 8gb ddr3 1866 and gtx 770 2gb. How many instances of ffxi should I be able to run? I get lagged out pretty hardcore at 4, but I can do 3+winamp+chrome just fine. Any ideas?

    Supposedly, running Chrome, right-clicking the CRX file, and then opening it with another application will make it disappear. You can open it with any program, such as Microsoft Word or Paint. If that doesn't work, try to open it with Chrome. Then, if it doesn't disappear on its own, try to delete it, and see what happens. I don't know if this will work, as I have never had this problem, but it is apparently common enough on the Chrome forums to have numerous threads dedicated to it.

    As for your second question, what are your FFXI settings?

    As for your second question, what are your FFXI settings?
    After I restarted my pc the crx file went away. Stupid Conduit somehow appeared, but is deleted.

    I'm using Ashita on a 23" 1080p IPS. I run at 1920x1080. I may just run the 4th at a much lower resolution and use it as a TH only.
