Insomniac Games is also hard at work at Ratchet & Clank for the PS4, a re-imagination of the original game that started it all 13 years ago. The game, out Spring 2016, re-tells the origin story that ties in closely and expands upon the movie’s narrative. It also features several new levels along with reimagined classic locales like Metropolis, brand new weapons and completely redone visuals made possible by the power of the PlayStation 4. We’ll be sharing more on the game soon!

While you might have to wait a bit longer than expected, rest assured we’re using the time wisely to further polish the game to a spit-shine level, with dazzling shader response, awe-inspiring effects, velvety smooth animations, and spectacular new gameplay segments. Really, we can’t wait to show it to you.

Wow! Insomniac's style looks amazing on this gen! I never played the original Ratchet and Clank, but looks like I will have to give this a shot.

Looks pretty amazing unless they happened to mix most of that stuff as pre-rendered. But a lot of it looked like actual gameplay which is spectacular

Anyone else end up getting this? Only downside so far so it seams extremely short but I'm loving it so far. Excited for the to continue this games. Picked it up for cheap wasn't disappointed at all. At least worth a rental.

To me its Ratchet and Clank as if it made in a Going Commando style.

If you like the more classic Ratchet and Clank you'll enjoy this game easy. Although it is also pretty easy.

There was a lot left out :/. No skills points, a lot shorter then the original and to easy. I missed Helga the trainer instructor

Yeah I was looking for stupid stuff to do for skill points. Thanks and why no arena type stuff I always enjoyed that.

Skill points still exist in a way. Just tied to bronze trophies and not at all hinted at. Its a shame for sure. They got plenty to make up for it. The Hoverboots were probably the best thing I've seen added in a Ratchet and Clank I've played.

Likely what will happen is you'll crush the first playthrough in about 6-8 hours. The challenge mode in 4-6. And then maybe you'll do it a third time to clean up the achievements and go for the plat.

My gf started playing the ps2 version while I watched occasionally, and it was neat but not my cup o tea. Then I played the remake on her brothers ps4, wow the game is freaking beautiful. He had a lvl10 R.Y.N.O., hahah so amazing.

Sheepinator and R.Y.N.O are my favorite weapons, haha
