The mobile version of this game was absolutely brilliant, yeah it was a mobile game but it was really fun and the gacha was extremely non-intrusive if you're just doing the story. Even Collab heroes were free by doing their stories.

ANYWAY

I'm looking forward to this, for sure will buy it.

Yeah, I've never really found many mobile games I like, and I still really dislike gacha in general, but I've played through all of Another Eden at this point and still log in daily for stuff. The free characters actually are quite good in some cases to where you don't feel the pull of gacha that much.

I was honestly curious if something like this would happen after Octopath 0, I'd love for more mobile/gacha games to eventually get this treatment.

I'd be curious to see what changes they make because there's obviously a lot of gachafication relative to character acquisition, growth, power creep, etc., but I honestly hope they scrap skill setting for a traditional ability menu and the QTE hell that was the AF system. I doubt it, but I can dream.
