I need running shoes and regular walking around shoes. What's gonna be a good look.
I can't ask in the shoe thread because it feels like walking into an art studio and asking people what kind of paint they like.

Are you a dad or soon to be dad who is 40+? New Balance high tops for you, for the rest of your life.
Running shoes depend on your weight and gait, pronation, etc:
Gel nimbus 22's are nice for newbies but if you can determine your pronation and such you can get a much more specific answer. You can wet your foot and step on a paper towel to see where your arches are and/or go to a runnersworld and have someone watch you run. If you're heavier than 180 you're probably going to over pronate and need more stability. Nimbus should work if you don't want to overly research, don't get the 21's.
Casual shoes depend how trendy/comfortable/ hipster you want to be vs your budget:
New balance is great, but the greatest aren't cheap. NB 997s 998 and several others in the 990+ model range can be pricey but they hit every mark. Comfort, trendy, dad shoe, etc.
Super cas/comfy and wanna walk on clouds try for EQT 93/17 or Presto Reacts. Can spend less than 100 if you shop around. Wanna spend more and get more of a 'runner shoe' while still walking on clouds go ultra boost. Alphabounce in between.
All of the above always in style and the dad shoe NB is trending hard I'm actually buying some New Balance bodegas today when my credit from my last resale hits.
Also Sherwin Williams matte/flat it's washable and if you ever need a touch up you can paint right over it and it will blend right in.
i asked these things once here before, tyven gave me some good recommendations and i appreciated him taking the time to do so but i thought i would look like a douche in said shoes. (i appreciate you, tyven)
so i just bought some ones that probably made me look like more of a douche
i bought these for my running/outdoor shoe:
https://www.amazon.com/adidas-Racer-...i=3&th=1&psc=1
but they wore down real quick idk
nah i look pretty normal bruh
These are good shoe recs, I will make at least one purchase based on this.

ultraboosts were the rage in the shoe thread last year, wife got some for running and loved them, i got some and liked them but were too tight on the top of my foot![]()
wear whatever walmart brand. runners aint upping your game to the ladies
the 93/17s look nice, like a ultraboost w laces
thing that boggles me about UB is that they are still hard to find. i've decided adidas is just a shit company at doing anything since they are just trying to sell exclusivity which makes them shit
It’s insane that, aside from a few gram flexes, I haven’t worn anything but the same pair of Vans for the last 3 months.
