No it just says his Uncle and Aunt called him Carlos, not Carlos Mencia. Probably a nickname. How that helps your argument that he is German is beyond me though.

Ironically enough, Mencia has taken some slams for being a white man trying to pass as a minority. In reality, Mencia has some German roots on his father's side, but he was raised in a Hispanic household and speaks fluent Spanish.

Snopes has gone through a search for it and if you search for ned holness german, you'll find hundreds of pages regarding it. And you'll see several people quoting IMDB before they edited it saying he was half-german.[/quote]
