8800 gtx issues

Does anyone else have ffxi running on an 8800gtx. All other games seem to run fine but ffxi.

The game itself seems ok, except the buttons have this light colored blur over them and only my char model loads, no other chars npc's, or even my mules on the character selection screen load.

I've turned off all features of the card and I still get the same effect :/

Using an 8800 to play FFXI is like using a 64 bit processor to play PacMan or using a 747 to drive to work. It should work, but it's a bit much for the job.

Make sure you're using the newest drivers for the card and update your BIOS and Chipset.

I have an 8800 GTS and this is an ongoing problem. If you are playing in Fullscreen mode, you can deal with it if you have the latest drivers as they fixed all the problems except the super-white menu buttons that are near illegilible.

Hopefully they will address this problem with the next driver revision or SE will release a patch, but... I'm not feelin too lucky ;_;.

Please post if you find any workaround for using these cards glitch-free.
