Shadow Ring Proc Rate

After a small discussion on Shadow Ring proc rate last night, someone went back to the parsed logs on the last 5 Tiamats and extracted some Shadow Ring data. I have to say we were pretti suprised. It turned out to be around 13% proc rate over 1000+ hits. Special is our LS Taru PLD~ (Data from Daxam~)

S mantle seems more like 5%, especially on easy stuff.

Wasn't there a topic a long time ago that found out that the proc rate on those items was based on how low your HP percent was?

I've had my ring and mantle for awhile now and those numbers sound about right. I'm not sure about the hp percent but they seem to kick in more on darksday.

12-15% on ring sounds about right from eyeballing tiamat battles. i've always wanted to extract raw data but just never got around to it.

Mantle seems like a 10-15% proc rate to me, sometimes it "works" and sometimes its just broken and doesnt work.

My shadow mantle has a mind of its own. When i'm messing around it wont proc much. But when i fight HNMs or really need the procs it does all the time. In one instance on a skeleton crew run in dynamis windurst after the boss, we pulled and we got a massive link. i cured one of whms who got hate and i spamed my job ablites and pop invinc since i was the only tank left. Well after my 2 hour wore off i was getting hit for 0 non stop lol. in that instance it seemed to have a mind of its own.

Also i know it has no connection but the 0s i always get are critcal hits too :D
