Wasn't GT4 in development long before Project Gotham Racing? It does seem weird that they would use very similar models.

It's not just similar models. It's literally the exact same screenshot smoothed over a bit. The car to the side of the yellow car, the fence in the background, the fact that that's a direct rip from one of the tracks in PGR3... just... oy.

I read something once where EA or some company like that has a exclusive license to a lot of the car brands out there, so they simply can't be used by anyone else without paying $$$.

The Ferrari's have been introduced to HD, if you've played the downloadable version. HD was cancelled though, and is being recreated as GT4, as for the screenshot I don't know, but I do know that the HD/GT4 project has been in the works for awhile.
