I was looking up interesting BCNM's to do since they all seem to pay complete crap unless you get lucky and stumbled upon this.

Now the interesting thing about this is

Working Job Combinations

* As strange as it may sound, it does not appear as if anyone has ever beaten the BCNM.
* Your strategist could only find one record of an attempt at this BCNM that ended in failure when a defeated hound respawned.
* This is just baseless conjecture, but perhaps you can only defeat this BCNM by vanquishing all four dogs at once.
* A strategy similar to Dropping Like Flies could work where a paladin or thief pulls the hounds so they group together and 2-5 summoners use Astral flow to quickly defeat all the hounds.

Anyone tried/win this bc before?

actually I've been debating trying this one for a long time now, as apparently it drops a Killer Mantle....+5 dark magic skill whilst having /DRK.

Doesn't sound so amazing until you combine it with a RDM/DRK and our craptastic Dark Magic skill.....cap of 200, I'm sitting at 220 at the moment (crimson finger gauntlets, glamor jupon, dark torque) and 225 would be absolutely great for solo play macroed in for drain/aspir/absorb spells.

For those who don't have sea access or don't forsee getting the sea capes any time soon, its a great alternative for dark magic.

What makes anyone think it drops from that BC? I don't think anyone has ever even seen it drop from it (since no one has ever beaten it).

In fact, since no one has ever beaten it, and yet people have obtained Ashigaru Mantle before (ffxiah), that means its obtained through some other means.
