Cosmo-cleanse bug

We've noticed this a couple times recently where an LS member has been locked out of a run, and a GM call today made it painfully obvious that it's a bug on SE's end.

It seems under some conditions the Cosmo-cleanse vendor doesn't always actually give you Cosmo-cleanse, even though it states "Obtained: cosmo-cleanse." Supposedly you aren't charged, either. The item won't show in your key item list; this is a way of determining that you got hit by the bug.

So... double check that you have cosmo-cleanse before you truck out to Al'taieu, because there's no way in if you got screwed.

The message is vague and if you skip by it really fast you think you got it.

I got this before and figured it was a bug. Couldn't enter Limbus and when i scrolled up the log i could clearly read the "Obtained: Cosmo-Cleanse" thing.

I got teleported at the exact same time I "obtained: cosmo-cleanse: once and it took the 50k but gave me no cleanse.

I also had the same thing happen. I thought I must of not got it but was pretty sure I did. I scrolled up and looked at log and it did say I got it. I even made sure I had the card but still couldnt enter. I went back and bought it again.

this happened to a THF in my LS the other day when we were going to fight Omega.

This has happened to our static twice and same with obtaining the cards.

Yeah I always manually check my key items menu to make sure I have both cleanse & the correct card.

It happened to me the very first time I was supposed to start going with a new limbus shell. Then it happened multiple times in a row to one of the other members.

Solution: check your key items in jeuno.

just happened to my ls yesterday on an Omega run. to our main tank PLD/nin. we were pretty pissed. seems a pretty glaring bug to have let live...wtf
