PUP/WAR summoned Garuda??

OK, I didn't exactly summon Garuda, but here's what happened...

I was PUP/WAR in Besieged the other day. The zone was completely full and I was experiencing more lag than usual. I had to use Activate several times to resummon my automaton. One time I hit Activate, and then my macro to Deploy her, which says:

<pet>, {Full Attack!} <t>

... which should give me something like:

Asuka, {Full Attack!} SomeMob

But instead it said:

Garuda, {Full Attack!} SomeMob

I looked at where the pet HP bar is and it said Garuda there as well. After a few seconds passed my automaton finally appeared on screen, and the HP bar changed to Asuka. I hit my Deploy macro again and it used the right name this time.

I haven't done too many Besieged as PUP, but I had never had this kind of glitch before. Has anyone else seen it?

When besieged is ultra laggy, lots of fun stuff happens... when I finished besieged the other day, a wyvern was still standing there (after you found out how much exp/IS you got) and everyone was wailing on him for 0 damage, he disappeared in like 30 seconds

Heh, one time after we lost a Besieged, one of the trolls in the Hall of Binding stuck around. He never disappeared though... everyone beat on him for a few minutes and killed him.

I've summoned Garuda in Beseiged before, only the name was just a random jumble of characters instead of "Garuda." It also never appeared next to me, and always was missing the health bar like it was out of range. I had to Dismiss and resummon to "fix" it.

Might be a glitch liek when you exaime people in a laggy zone and the first few secodns YOUR basar comment shows up as theirs

I PUP a lot in Besieged, and this happens during particularly crowded attacks. Joe became Carbuncle for a day. (*'-')

This was taken on Oct. 11, 2005, and I was the only SMN in the zone. Weird since there was no lag either.

I've seen Ramuh sunning himself at the beach (he really needs it) for an extended period of time, before. And I've seen fire elementals at the entrance to Hall of the Gods from Ro'Maeve, too. I think I recall seeing Garuda somewhere in Ro'Maeve unattended, as well.

Fairy had a Carbuncle summon stuck in Al'Taieu near the zoneline leading to Sealion's Den for about 3 weeks.

I've got some SS's sitting around of a Fire Elemental named Shiva sitting in the Parade Grounds after a Besieged, it's name is faded like it was being desummoned, but it sat there for like half an hour, people gathered around, I started a religion, converted a few people, but then it faded and I hear they don't really practice anymore.

So hard to keep the faith.

We had a Carbuncle guard the entrance to the Hall of Gods for a solid week once on Asura. No name attached to it, it was at the top of the steps, facing the foutain, and just didn't move.

We had a fire elemental named "Titan" sitting outside of the Hall of Gods in Ro'Maeve a long time ago. It was there for a while, then vanished, then came back again later. One of the many mysteries of life.

We've had a fire elemental that had no name hang around where the whm AF NM is popped in valkurm dunes.
