    Drakengard 2 Cain fight

How the fuck am I supposed to beat this guy? Manah lv33, Nowe lv28. I have Oror's Longsword at lv3 can take to lv4 if I need to but will be dead boring repeating free mission, but I don't get much chance to hit him and he just rapes me, I block the sword attacks and the fire when he shoots 10 rows but the one fire blast thing I can't avoid, only way is to side step? Help!

It's been a long time since I played so I have no idea if those levels are sufficient for this fight, although any level probably won't help much if you don't know how to fight him.

First off, you should be using Inuart's Longsword if you have it and it's leveled, as it'll deal extra damage to Caim as you fight him. If you're having a lot of trouble with the fight you should be burning all your magic using Manah until she's out, then switch Nowe in to fight as her magic recovers.

As for the fight itself, it's really just learning to dodge all his attacks. You can actually dodge the large fireball, by jumping over/away from it, or already be running when he charges it. Basically, when ever you see him start any attack jumping away is probably a good idea. Almost everything he does leaves about a second when he's recovering and you can land some attacks if you're close enough. I never managed to land a full combo on him, as he'll almost always block the last swing and proceed to hand you your ass. 2-3 attacks max, then roll or jump away.

This fight is seriously the hardest on-foot battle in the game; just take it real slow, don't take any risks, and bring lots of medicine.
