I just can't live with myself if I sat down and watched/followed this show. To each his own and all that, I just think it looks really, really meh. I'll read this post though, see if it's a show worth giving a chance..

I never read comics or got into the cartoon super hero genre of television. Just never really interested me. So I really have no thoughts or preconceived notions going into this show. Just gonna sit back and enjoy my blissful ignorance.

Just finished watching it, I had tivo'd the last 30min because I had to handle some daddy duties. Defined protagonist and antagonist. Father/son parallel and what may end in a father vs son storyline (or so it seems). Already beat the shit out of the heroes season premiere.

Same here, but I gave it a shot. I saw the beginning where she flipped out and broke her Hubby/bf's arm when she woke up and saw her limbs. Then I turned it and saw again when she was in the bar looking around..... Then I turned it yet again, never to return.

I clicked to it midway and watched it while I was on the phone. Maybe if I had paid full attention to it I might have liked it, but it was nothing that drew my attention away from the conversation I was having.

They changed the kid sister thingie, I saw a version of this about a month ago that was almost exactly the same, except the sister was deaf and stuff

There was something completely fucking lame about how her sister "can't use the internet... OMG IS THAT A PHONE LINE I SEE!!! WAS IT PLUGGED INTO YOUR PUTER??!?... you can't use teh internet..."

it reminded me of the travesty known as the movie "Hackers"... she's like ZeroKewl or w/e that douche's handle was in that movie.

To me it was really quite painful to watch. Bad acting combined with cheesy lines..... not so good times

Example: When the mum is driving down the road with her little girl. The girl spots Jaime (that's her name, right?) running through the trees after her grand escape. The kid tells her mum that she saw someone running alongside of the car, mum doesn't believe here...and then...the kid spits out "I just thought it was cool that a girl could do that". Um...riiiiight.. that TOTALLY fit in with the scene, and I know when I was 6 I said junk like that all the time.

Yeah that's mainly my problem with it... other than the fact it seemed more and more like a chick's show as time went on.
