Metallic Body Dispelling?

Is there some trick to Dispelling crab's Metallic Body buff in Kuftal? Currently on Bard in my low 50s and I constantly get "...Finale has no effect on the..." when the Metallic Body is the last buff applied to the mob. I don't get the usual "Has no effect" when other songs/spells are resisted.

I very vaguely recall that there's something special about this move and it can't be dispelled until you're over lvl 60, but that's only rumour.

Metallic Body is so weak it probably got knocked off by 1 melee hit. Ignore it and save precious finale recast for Scissor Guard.

Isnt Metalic Body capped at like.. 15 DMG from Valkurm Craps to Steelshells?

not that i know of. a blu's metallic body can scale with their skill and lvl, so i'd guess that the mob's does too (wish blu's pollen scaled like a mob's, damnit!) however a blu caps out in the 120 ballpark iirc, thus allowing most mobs to cleave it off w/ nothing more than 1 hit. since melees are constantly swinging, i'm sure that they're hitting hard enough to strip that stoneskin before you could even see it resolve in your chatlog, much less respond or cast finale.

The mob metallic body does scale up a bit, but it's still always pretty weak. By the time you cast finale/dispel it will almost always have been knocked off by one or two melee hits.

I've soloed a lot of crabs with katana that do 40-50 dmg without def boost and 10-30 with, and I really can't remember the last time I had the first hit after metallic body not do dmg.
