PSP
So, for awhile, i been wanting to downgrade my PSP, gave up seeing as you need a un-patched game of GTA, now wondering, i've given up for awhile, is there any new way to downgrade to where you can play ISO's?

Re: PSP
I don't really know much about the PSP at all just bought mine so I could play Tekken, Street Fighter while at work but I know my cousin used Lumines to downgrade his.
Here is a video for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQUxPKFeSxw
Again I really don't know much about the PSP but maybe that can help you.

Re: PSP
what firmware version do you have?

gonna save some hot babes and punch radiation in the mouth.
Re: PSP
Th way i did it was to upgrade to 3.50 then find my old copy of lumines and downgrade from there using the HEN version of 3.50 firmware. Its sorta complicated but if you follow the steps its really easy. I've already done the process with all of my friends psps. Alternatively, you can use the Pandora Unbricker/Downgrader as well.

Re: PSP
You can upgrade to 3.5 then downgrade from there using Lumines I believe, should not be to hard finding a copy of that. Then just follow the link the guy above you posted.

Re: PSP
Lumines is a game? if i can't find that i think i'll just go the GTA route

Re: PSP
lumines is rare as hell... i think you can downgrade from 2.81 to 1.5

Re: PSP
Its also now possible to put custom firmware on any version firmware PSP (including the new slim psp). Unfortunately it requires a custom firmware (or version 1.5) psp to convert a battery to use the Pandora's Battery method (which can also recover bricked psps).

Re: PSP
I bought a 3rd party replacement battery and use my official one as a pandora's battery. I've downgraded at least 10 PSPs this way with no fail (out of 10.. not bad going really.) Only suggestions I have are to either get Lumines or GTA (some sites have a pay it forward type thing where people send out the same copy to people who want to downgrade) and to read any instructions thoroughly. Make sure your battery is near 100% charged and plugged into the mains and the chance of a brick is almost impossible.
