    Working parser?

I really hate to make this thread, I can't seem to find any links with search except towards http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvsparse/

I'm fairly certain that people have been posting parses after the sept 11th patch, but the soureforge page shows no current files released. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

At one point there was a working DVS parse out there. However once Divisor got his ass chewed for RMTmandu he decided to completely quit the parser. If you ask around someone might still have a copy of 1.7.3 (which works)

    Re: Working parser?

I have not used it yet, since I am waiting for dvsparse to break on me, but I believe there is still some work being done on the source from TazzyLyn's FFXI Log Parser at:

    http://www.lildevilproductions.net

From what I can tell, it looks like it's functioning, and they are working on some future enhancements. See if that works for you. You do need to register to get to the downloads section. I haven't used it myself yet, but it was an alternative to dvs that I came across. Also, the logo at the top of that link might possibly be construed as slightly NSFW, as it's a suggestive looking devil woman.

    Re: Working parser?

I've had a quick look around and I can't seem to find anywhere else where 1.7.3 is downloadable. Is there anywhere else to get it currently, because I would like to continue using it until an update breaks it.

As good as the lulz were in that thread, that is a major downer. I loved dvsparse (at least it was fixed from the latest update so we can use it until the next one). Is the source code still available for someone else to pick up where DT left off or did he get that removed too?

You should still be able to get the source off of the sourceforge svn.

Here's the 1.7.3 binaries (which works, last time I checked)

    Re: Working parser?

sorry for the couple month necrobump, but after searching through the forums via search button, as well as surfing the net, i cant seem to find a working parser. seeing as how this thread was/is a good topic for this, might as well post here.

so, if anyone has a link to a working parser (taz worked awsome, but i cant find a fix for that one ; and could help me out, it would be much appreciated. preferably not dvs parse aswell.. idk why but when i had that before as a replacement to taz when it broke it just didnt seem like it was what i was looking for ;/.

thanks in advance ^^, again, sorry for the necro ><

Not what you're looking for but if you don't find anything else, Zhais has a working version of DVS in his sig. HERE. I d/l'd tazzy's a while back but found it too bothersome compared to DVS, but meh.

    Re: Working parser?

I was part of the DVSParse project very briefly before I left the game over the summer. That program seems overly complex for what it did. If I was ambitious enough, I could whip something together in .NET but I'm lazy and that would mean I had to stop playing long enough to do something else.
