I just bought a gallon of the stuff today (my first of the season!) and my roommate and I got into an argument about it. Personally, I love the stuff; she hates it. What's BG's opinion of Eggnog?

It's fucking delicious.
Every year all the 'younger' people in my family have an egg nog drinking contest during thanksgiving, whoever lasts the longest gets $100. I'm still not sick of it though.

I reckon people who hate it tried drinking too much. It's an extraordinarily rich & heavy drink, and not for the type of people used to chugging 5-6 cups of alcohol per party.
In moderation, it's yummy. And festive!
