Hpemde Issue

Hello all,

After editing all my macros, I was looking for something to do.
I decided, while ignoring a terrible Lag, to Skill up Sword as RDM while farming Luminian Tissues in sea. Nothing too hard for any decent RDM...
I gear up ready to go. Pulling a Hpemde, and the bad part starts when it opens its big mouth.
It hit me for 150-200crit when SS was down and at a pretty high speed, but that's not the point.
After counting, I dealt about 1500-2000 damage to the mob while it had its mouth open. Used WS (Fast Blade duh but still a WS for 200-250ish), Slept and used Sneak Attack (RDM/THF...) and kept up meleeing a bit till I couldn't keep up because mob wouldn't close its mouth.
I admit I haven't done much testing, but after about 5 Hpemde and being 5 times close to death, the results were all the same. Nothing closed its mouth, including WS, Critical Hit (includes SA), Damage, and even Nukes (even though I haven't done many but still)

Question: Has anyone had any issues with this before? I haven't and I fought many Hpemde before.
I won't immediatly call it an update glitch or anything else blaming SE, but i'd first ask, "Have I done something Wrong?" That is where I require your opinions, own testings, advices, etc.

This is maybe not too appropriate for advanced, move to newbie if you think it belongs there.

Went down to test it on Ul'hpemde, couldn't tell any difference from before. Will kill a few more. mouths closing after ws' as normal etc. were you on Ul or Om?

DA rate seems a bit high, but that could just be me imagining things after having read about other reports of DA increases.

Noticed the same with my Trick Attack rate last night in Limbus. WAY too soon to say it was buffed, but maybe I don't have to /cry about THF anymore.

Crit hits numbers are normal with open mouth, the few times I got hit on thf (yay thf def) was for about that number, what sounds strange is that they kept their mouth open... any crit, ws or spell and they should close it...

Damn maintenace or I'd be off to try that

Well, I will go again after maintenance to try it again; maybe it was actually nothing and it was just me freaking out with my lag not being able to cast a stoneskin with a macro popping in 5 seconds. Or me just blaming maitenance since so many monsters got pretty messed up. But I did try again before maintenance, sometimes the Hpemde did close its mouth easily, but sometimes I had real trouble closing it, dealing for than 1000dmg with Crits and WS without closing.
