FFXI = frozen comp

I am lost on this, I have not changed anything but everytime I start FFXI my comp just locks up, or restarts (that one really confused me)
Its not just the windower, happens in normal POL too

Checked all my drivers, the files for FF, Swaped out my RAM thinking maybe one went bad, Its not overheating. I have done everything I can think of

As for how it happend, was working yesterday, and now its not. Been going at it for about 3hrs
Oddest thing was one time when I hit yes on TOS, it said same character already loged in, then closed, and comp locked up

you checked error logs to see whats causing the crash/lock up? if it restarts on a crash then chances are a log was written for the faulting application. check if its a driver or some misc. application you have running in the background at the time. right click mycomputer > manage > expand event viewer > check the system and application logs and see if you can get anything from those logs.
