Restoring Maccros (PC)

OK so heres the deal i recently had to format my HD (GRRRR) don't get me started on that. But luckily i had everything backed up on the external. So after putting everything back on my computers HD and reinstalling pol and all that fun stuff i was nearly sobbing with tears when i first loged back on to find every one of my i don't know how many maccro sets was completely gone,. AHHHHH! But i still have the back up from before i formated my HD on the external witch includes every single POL FFXI RotZ CoP and TAU file. is there any posable way i can restore my old maccros?

Yes! the macros are stored in the FFXI folder under: User -> then the following folders are encoded but represent each of your registered accounts, should only be 1 folder if you only have 1 account stored. Go into the folder and copy the files marked .mb and .mc1-14 and any other files that look like they might relate to macros lol...sorry I'm not sure which ones exactally. Then paste them over the new install in the same folder.

HAHA your my hero i ended up just takeing the hole encoded users file they i knew was the user i wanted and copied and replaced the hole thing and wala i have my years worth of maccros thank the sky gods.. and you of corse :D
