Where'd the prizes go?

Reading through these threads makes me miss the Pit... sort of. I just can't see myself going back for a simple reason:

1) I could sit in the Pit and make XP for my pet.
2) I could sit in Campaign and make XP for myself.

The Pit was semi-fun, but rewardless fun < XP/limit points/merits.

I remember a few updates back that through data mining people found that there are in fact prizes in the dat files. Three different moghouse items (something with horns, for first/second/third place in the Pit). I wonder if SE forgot the prizes exist? It seems like it's too long of a delay to be introducing them now...

If nothing else, it'd rock if you could buy the prizes through pit-bucks or whatever they had been called.

I wish SE would give me a reason to go back. :/

That's my worry, look at chocobo racing. There are prizes for your mog house in the dats for racing, too...

Hell, I have raised 7 birds and I cant get their stats to even be worthy of winning the easiest race. They are all slow, stupid or both

You can actually make ok money from racing, but you gotta spend a lot of time to build it up that far ;
