Stage Builder

Dunno what you all think but for the most part it lacked a lot of things I was hoping it would have. Even with all the unlocked stuff you still only have the basic generic block as the only grabable ledge and most of the structures can't have shit anywhere near them, and even cause those blocks to lose their grabability.

Nonetheless I still had ideas before the game came out and made a couple stages, figured I'd post them and maybe spark some ideas or something. Oh yeah I dunno how I would take in-game screenshots and get them on my computer and they couldn't seem to capture the whole stage so I just used a digital camera.

Flamingo Island:
Inspired by an idea some linkshell members and I had to charm all the flamingos in sky and leave them on Suzaku island so that when someone goes up there the whole place is loaded with flamingos. Couldn't really get much for decorations and if I put too much shit in there then it would probably just get gay. Kind of reminds me of when the old Pokemon Stadium would transform and have a big wall on the side, probably would frustrate the shit out of people trying to recover. Also I put the Angel Island song in there to jazz it up.

Pyramid of Power:
Got the idea when I was messing around with the blocks, was gonna make it just the outside but I decided it would be cooler if you could go in like in Link to the Past. After trying to recreate the little room where you fight Ganon and failing at it, I decided it would be cooler if I made it a big old Ganon face. After testing it out, it's kinda weird and can be hard to kill people, and computer can never seem to get back up top (there are moving up-down platforms in there), and then they always end up killing themselves. Probably more of a novelty stage, I haven't had the chance to try more than 1 on 1 for real people. Gave it the Death Mountain music instead of the regular Dark World music cuz I thought it was a better arrangement.

Serp Is Gay:
My brother and I decided we needed to make this stage as soon as we found out you could make stages. Named after our LS leader, we made it for our LS members to settle all disputes and how we could award shit if we were feelin saucy. Took like 2 hours to make cuz certain letters are so fuckin hard to spell with the limited space and tools, I think it shows towards the end, particularly the G and A in GAY. Wicked fuckin awkward to play on cuz you pretty much have to kill from the Y, below the I, or send them straight up, but nonetheless we're stickin with it. Gave it the Dr. Mario song cuz we haven't unlocked anything sillier that fits (did consider the Earthbound shop song and a couple others though).

If someone really wanted me to send them so they could try/edit them lemme know. Anyone else got any good ones, lemme see em

Stage builder is super gay, because the unlocked parts do nothing and you can't play them online.

That being said me and my friend did manage to make some cool levels, but they could have been alot better.

My friend made a stage that is nothing but three separate levels of those falling blocks. It's really fun to play on, although we had to ban characters like ROB and other people with really good jumps to make it fair.

Was really hoping for more variety from stage builder. Still, I got to make a level that resembles the N64 Zelda level (minus the tornado), so it's not all bad~

My favourite stage of all the ones I've made has that, and that's one of the main reasons I like it. It's large size and has 2 levels. To get to the top level the easiest way is to wall jump all the way up.

I made a level filled with nothing but horizontal moving platforms (with four verticals on the sides). It's a bit unruly but my friends and I have a blast on it.

Is there any way to save the daily custom stages? They always overwrite each other ><

If there's no way you could always just make your own version of the stage and then save it.

Something I had in mind to try was a halo themed stage. This is just a rough 15 minute put together but it turned out a little better than i thought:
