If you explore the files in the windows browser you can open the exe's i believe and they will start the auto installers. I had the same issue on my new laptop and thats what I did. I just dont remember if they are exe files or what but just click on the Cd drive and explore and they should all pop up.

i think he just wants to find an ISO with all of the expansions and original game, in a single ISO file, which I actually have one that I made and update the ISO everytime a new expansion comes out, it's about 5.26 GB

Speaking of the Vista version of POL...

When I get my laptop, and try to see if FFXI will work on Vista, can I just take my old FFXI CDs (original/roz CD + CoP CD + ToAU CD + WotG CD) and install them, or do I need to go find some Vista version of POL first before installing my CDs?

According to the POL instructions here you should download and install the Vista POL first, then install FFXI.

Thanks for the link. On another note, I noticed the 8700 isn't in the list of approved cards for Vista. Think I should have gotten the 8600 instead, or think they simply didn't test it and the 8700 is probably fine?

8700 will be fine, and will suffer the same nvidia+vista problems beyond the 169.17 drivers, that all the other 7x00 through 9x00 cards have
