Link Collection Rebirth

The Link Collection thread was somewhat abandoned, but now I'd like to recreate it better than ever. Naturally, I'm going to ask for your help as this serves as something made by the community for the community.

The goal is to have a thread that contain links that someone "new" to the internet must have. Something that will let them use the net to it's full advantage. Perhaps full isn't the right word as the only thing banned is Porn(including hentai). I'm also cautious of posting other forums unless they can be of great help.

Rather than overlap, I rather just cover area where this post doesn't. The only thing missing from his are Firefox plug-ins. I'd love to see a lot of those here. Torrent sites will still be accepted.

Concerning Pirating, this seems be allowed. If you have protests about people posting roms, streaming sites, etc take it up with the mods, not with me.

One final note: I'd like to keep the collection semi-balanced. For example: I know there are dozens upon dozens of videogame news sites. I only really want the best. And I'd like a lot of normal news sites too. Also because of this, for manga/anime I'd like sites with a lot of series, not just one.
