I was listening to this on the way home this evening. It is not something I am ready to jump out and believe directly without checking out some more background and other studies, but it is very interesting. At least they are attempting to apply science to something that's generally been int eh realm of "believe or or you're going to burn in hell".

There is no way anything, anyone can ever do, that will ever prove or disprove the existence of "god". Find your conclusions in the gray area. I just thought it was interesting that they could apply a theory in quantum mechanics to...relationships? best word i can figure at the moment.

The concept that interested me was the quantum entanglement. I have never heard of it, but I have been out of the loop on physics for a while now. Anyone familiar with this theory as it exists now and not how it relates to the article?

Quantum entanglement is a bunch of bullcrap imo (not the entanglement itself but the possible use). People just try hard to give a purpose to their brain, and they will grab any unknown in the process. From a practicable perspective, it would be very unlikely if it lead to a new understanding of the brain, because we already know it operates on a different level.

speaking of npr, I heard the epitome of non-relative bullshit the other day. It was so cliche and classic that i thought it was fake. They were interviewing a producer. This producer had recently done an entire CD, en entire 40 minutes of someones live, and god knows how much longer to actually make the fucking thing, OF!!!.............





































Solo triangle. Yes one woman playing one triangle for 40 fucking minutes. They were still discussing it like there were little nuances, like they actually could hear something other than the triangle for 40 fucking minutes. The only time it changed was on one song she started moaning. Like wounded soothe sayer. Like if you were performing voodoo in a trance and someone started hitting you in the back with a duraflame log. Thats what it sounded like.
