    PSP Pandora Battery

I got a Slim PSP and went out and bought a 2nd battery and did the pandora cut on the 4th wire. I made the magic memory stick, and I put everything back in and it went crazy... installing a bunch of stuff.

It hit a part where it said hit x to shutdown / install success.

However, after that it continued to install some more PRX/img files and it's been sitting now at
    Flaashing file flash0:/csh/resource/oneseq_plugin.rco (255860)... ok

it hasn't gone past that, and I've hit x two times now. Also I did the [] for dumping the mem in the begining...

Anyone have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong?

It should be done after you get the success message, have you tried just turning it off manually and seeing what happens? If its bricked you can just put the pandora battery back in and try again.

    O for original 3.71

And is now reinstalling ... mem and wireless lights flashing ...
i know it's installing correctly, I just hope i can boot it again

What happened was the success message is printed over what was there before, but it doesn't clear the screen below it, so it still shows what was installed before. Just hit X after the success message. On an off note, you didn't need to buy the 2nd battery. With the slim batteries, you don't need to cut that wire, you can scratch the wire leading to it with a razor blade to disconnect it, it has the same exact effect, except that afterwards you can use a pencil to trace back over that wire, and it will restore it back to an unmodded battery. If you have any other questions just ask, I've modded several PSPs, slim and phat.

Well, I did the shutdown, and was told to take out the mms and the battery and plug in the ac adapter. I've done that but well, I can't seem to get it to do anything else. this sucks too because i leave tomorrow for hawaii, so i really would like this working before I left.

When taking out the battery / mms after the install and plugging in the AC adapter, I get just the green light on power and a black screen.

Oh, that happened to me too. I thought I bricked the fucking thing, but it turned out I botched the nicked wire. Managed to get ahold of a fat, unlocked PSP and do the rest.

    Re: PSP Pandora Battery

I bought a new battery, one of the extended life ones and it lasted well throughout my entire trip to Hawaii and back.

I thought I bricked it as well, but apparently it was just the battery, so now I'm on my 3rd PSP battery. Now just to find a good version of FFVII and Legend of the Dragoon, I'll do that on my own.

    Rocking for the help guys.

PSPISO.com is basically your one-stop shop for anything like that. Hopefully the morons will have set all the saveID's to the same number so you don't have to manually change them per-disc like I did. If you do have that, there's a program to fix it, but it requires a slightly illegal to have PS store download to swipe some data from to make the program work. Let me know if you have any problems.
