Anyone gonna play it when it comes out? I played RO1 for few years and I liked it alot until FFXI came out then I quit RO and play FFXI.

since i cant get access to beta account cuz no korean SSN, anyone played the beta yet?

Played the beta, didn't like it.
But then again I was playing on my old computer (just got a new one earlier this year) and I lagged like fuck (also, a lot of the textures didn't load properly), so that probably had a lot to do with it.

EDIT: Gonna redownload the client and give the game a real shot and let you know what I think.

I'll give it a shot, like you I played RO for a while until FFXI came out, then I quit for that. I occasionally (read: rarely) play on private servers. RO has a fantastic atmosphere and vibe to it, also the nostalgia is fucking strong with that one.

Too bad the actual game sucked. Though I do miss some of the fast paced action.

Played the open (or was it closed? idr) korean beta when it came out, didn't like it.

I've played, and still can actually. They've changed a lot since I first played, but haven't really added anything at all. Right now it's just quests, quests, quests, and more quests to level. Although I did like it and absolutely loved the music from the game.

It's still pretty glitchy at times with some of the mobs. I'm not sure if they've fixed the broken quests yet, but I imagine that stuff would be fixed by the time it was released for the US/International.

I also played RO before coming to FFXI, but only played it for about a year. We didn't even have Niffleheim yet but it was the next update coming around the time I quit I think.

I'd play it if it were free, but in it's current state of no real content, I wouldn't pay to play it.

Many of the stats and skills don't work right... etc
