Bard Songs & Temperments?

Does anyone have any concrete information about raising a Bard pet? Trying to figure out whether or not my guy is spamming Requiem is because of his low level or not

And whether or not temperaments affect what spells are cast?

I had a brd pet that i leveled as fasr as 20 before tossing it, but yes, the temperment did effect what it did, just like the commands would. It started defensive and would cast Minne, it hit somewhat aggress when i dropped it and started to do threnody and Minuet. Sorry ant help on this beyond that, anything else would just be me guessing.
