"Best" settings for a 24" LCD with windower?

Hi all..

As mentioned above, which settings will work out best with a 24" LCD?

tried to run windower at native settings(1920x1080)... wha, it was kinda stretched.. so i tried to adjust the settings ingame, 4:3 etc etc.. but the results were not satisfying..

So.. Just wanna ask advice from you guys, what settings will work out best.

currently, im running windower @ 1280x1024.

wut. isn't native for 1920x1080 16:9? I play on a 32" HDTV @1920x1080 and the game looks beautiful.

yup, its 16:9

changed to that setting, but everything @ 15~20" distance in game will look very pixel-ish.

ie, standing @ south sandy main entrance gate, anything @ and beyond the first wall will have jagged edges.

Ah, got it.

Just got home to change to settings in regedit.

to find where to change the values:

click Start > Run > type " regedit" (without the " "s) > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > PlayOnlineUS > SquareEnix > FinalFantasyXI.

basically, i just changed the value for 0003 and 0004. they are the background resolutions for width and height.

values for 1920 = 780 and 1080 = 438.
