    Mother Globe

Our somewhat newish sky group has been having difficulty doing Mother Globe. We run with around 6-8 people and have been difficulty getting a clean pull and getting it dead. We have a THF pop PD and flee to pull the slaves into the room to clear with -ga while NIN tank vokes.

Last night when the NIN voked MG, all the slaves also came with and got tore up. For the fight itself, melees claim and kill slaves that pop while BLM(s) nuke MG.

Any suggestions on pulling MG with more easy and killing with a lower man sky pop farm group?

Wait until all slaves are on the THF before your NIN vokes. Some of them are slower than the others.

PLD tank pulls, Invincible, you never have to swap hate at all. Then again, what you mentioned shouldn't happen, but, meh. PLD tank Invincible just takes out that risky middleman. I guess thats about it <_<

    For the pull:

Just have someone that can pull MG cleanly. We always pull MG into one of the rooms. So you've got your party / alliance waiting in the room and the puller is out there getting MG.

You also have a single BLM wait just outside the room watching the puller pull. As MG is coming into the room, the BLM ThundagaIII's the middle slave. This will instantly kill all slaves for a clean pull.

Then proceed to win. Without wasting a 2hr.

My linkshell actually had that happen once. THF PD'd pulled, NIN voked MG, and half the slaves went for the THF, the other half to the NIN. Shit went downhill fast and we wiped. We've pulled MG countless times and that was the first time we saw that happen.

It completely blew our minds also. First time that ever happened to us after doing Mother Globe several times.

Think I'm going to try pulling on PLD/NIN next time with flee boots on.

Pretty sure all the slaves were on the THF when the NIN voked.

Don't need Flee boots, just hit Sentinel and you'll have plenty of time to get back and have them aga-ed.

I've pulled MG probably about 4 times only, but I never had any problems. I would flee then /range from far away and run to the tunnel THEN I use PD. Then you have a long time for all pets to huddle up.

All of the problems people are having with weird hate on the slaves can simply be avoided if you have a BLM ThundagaIII them when they are pulled.

Then have whoever you want tank.

The method also doesn't require 2hr use.

If your BLM is fast, anyone can pull, really. Movement+ or Sentinel makes it easier, but it's not necessary. Just have them wait out in the open a bit and thundaga as soon as the middle slave is in range. Have a backup ready in case they separate, but I've never seen them separate so far that thundaga misses, unless you try to cast on the first slave.

We typically just use a PLD/NIN to pull, use Sentinel when he reaches the room, Thundaga, etc. Just make sure your BLMs are ready and alert.

PLD/anything can pull it easily and manage hate. You don't need movement speed or a second voke. Just run in, invincible, piss it off, run back, BLM nukes slaves to shit. PLD main tanks.

Melee on slaves, WS on MG.
    Nukes on MG.

    Easy win.

Remove the part about using Invincible. it's not needed. We always just pull with a thf or someone with some kind of ranged attack. after BLM -gas the slaves dead, tank can voke safely.

Sentinel is typically good enough, aside from last night when the BLMs just stared at me for 40 seconds and watched me get beaten to death

Also, if you pull with a THF using PD or PLD using Sentinel or Invincible, make them stop as they enter the room. All slaves will then be in a group and there will be no way to miss any of them with -aga.

But my point is you do not need to use 2hours to pull this.

Also, if you have a BLU they help a lot in this fight. Temporal Shift/Actinic Burst easily buys time to nuke slaves. And Head Butt spam makes tanking MG a joke.
