I'm sorry if I'm repeating what other people have tried before and posted here....I used the search feature and came up with nothing. I've been having a theory regarding Dark Knight and Haste/Zerg builds and I needed the help from some of the BG experts that have tested and tested this over and over.
If my math is correct I think that DRK can in fact hit that haste cap of 80% without the help of /sam's Hasso. This is what I mean
SV+Marchx2+Haste(spell)=43% cap
Desperate Blows(Fully Merrted)=25%
W. Turban=5%
Swift Belt=4%
Homam Manopolas=3%
Homam Gambieras=3%
Homam Cosciales=3%
Hasso=10%
Total=96% Haste (16% above cap)
Before the Haste update, ofcourse, this was ideal or by some, lacking. But now with the hard cap wouldn't be safe to say that a drk, with a similar gear set above could, again in theory, go /war and get the benefits of the 15% Double Attack and the 25% boost of attack from Berserk?
That would technically drop the Active Haste to 86% meaning they can now wear their AF(+1) helm and instead of using the gloom breastplate, possibly something more effective like an Adaman Hauberk or Homam Corazza?
Now for my final question.......I got my hands on an Algol a few months back and having been using it for zergs for awhile (im broke and cant afford a KC and my LS hasnt graduated to Bahamut or Sea fights) and I keep getting sh*t for it. Now with the theory I posted above, and I would be using a Homam Corazza for a body piece, Wouldn't the stacked Triple Attack from both pieces + the Double attack be effective?
