A little help please.

Im trying to download the trial version of the game and I always get "cannot retrieve information from the internet" or "tracker not responding, on the downloader".

Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong, ive disabled my firewall completly and even opened the ports they recommended in the support section, my net is working fine(I have road runner turbo), I just have no clue what im doing wrong.

Traffic perhaps. It is only a week after the expansion. I know the new areas have been crashing lately. Try in another hour or so when people will start logging off for the night.

If you have any local friends who play you can also just borrow their CDs and install the game that way.

Yeah i tried that and it wouldnt connect, always got unable to connect, Ive been able to play WOW on this laptop before a while ago and never had trouble, but for some reason Im having a ton of trouble.

Is it vista or xp?
I remember having problem installing WoW on my vista pc. Till I found out to just make a new folder in Local disk and downloading the game to that instead of Program files. If that is not the problem disregard this post!

There's a setting in the options in the WoW downloader where you can turn off peer to peer, letting you just use their http connection. Try that?

Ive been messing around and alot of people on the support forums are having the same problem, "cant read information from the internet", I guess ill wait and see if they respond on how to fix the problem :l
