    Looking at XBOX360 RTS Games

So with Gamestop's Black Friday deals I have thought about picking up some new games.

Mainly been looking at some RTS games for the 360, namely:

Supreme Commander (which I hear is alot like Total Annihilation, which I loved)
    Universe at War: Earth Assault

Also, wondering what good strategy (turn or real-time) games for the DS there are, I kinda need to get FFXII-RW for sure but don't know what else is out there.

Advance Wars. It is the best RTS on the DS. The latest one. Dual-Strike isn't too bad, but unbalanced as all fuck.

Rondo of Swords is a phenomenal DS turn-based strategy game. Incredibly difficult and unique, but suffers from low production value. Worth picking up if you can find a copy cheap.

Civilization wasn't too bad on the DS, obviously doesn't compare to the old PC versions but it was a good attempt at the series especially for a handheld. I think there's 2 Age of Empire games too, neither of which I've played. Tom Clancy's EndWar is just coming out next week.

Not sure if you'd count them as strategy, but Fire Emblem comes out next week in Europe if you wanted to import or download. Rondo of Swords also plays similar to Fire Emblem. More RPG-y and less strategy is Tactics Advance 2, Luminous Arc 1 and 2, Disgaea and Drone Tactics. Think there's more but names escape me at the moment.

Supreme commander was inspired by Total Annihilation, and was developed by Chris Taylor who made TA, but it's far from the same game. You can see how it's related... but they're more like distant cousins than anything else. Also I hear it runs like garbage on the 360. Get it for the PC if you can.

    Universe at War is crap.

    Games that others haven't mentioned:

Luminous Arc 2 is a good SRPG that just came out. Rune Factory 1/2 are great sim/RPG mixes if you liked the Harvest Moon series. Also The World Ends with You isnt a strategy game, but it's real time and a lot of fun.

Not an RTS, Advance Wars isn't real time at all, lol.
