It's a bit funny he left out the bigger HNMLS's he was in on his app. He's been in Zeus, Scrubs and PV.

Also think it's a bit funny how he left the fact he has a Lv75 BLM off his app. When he was in Zeus he would be asked to come BLM to events, and he'd show up with terrible gear, with empty slots of equipment, and at one point I believe there were screenshots of him deleveling it on purpose.

Anyway, he was in PV for short while, then left a message saying he was leaving due to his limit playtime schedule not being enough to serve in a HNMLS and because PV is mainly a NA shell. Next day he was in Aery camping against us in Zeus. This was all a long time ago of course, but around 5-6 months ago, Vendetta broke iirc, and Sephirothkun and a few others from the shell applied to PV, they all got in, minus Sephirothkun who didn't even seem to acknowledge he was in PV in his app.

Then 2 months ago, one of the guys (Simpricus) that applied with Sephirothkun apparently was trying to start a new endgame LS with Sephirothkun, and were asking a few of our members in /tell whether they wanted to join, for which Simpricus was swiftly kicked from PV. Obviously this didn't go too well as he's now applying to your LS.

Personally I have no problems with him. But I'm sure some of the members in Scrubs/Zeus can give you more information.

Anyways, despite what people are going to say about him, as I already know this is going to probably go quite disastrous because of his LS hopping habits (honestly, who wouldn't with those LS'?) he's actually a good person. I've known him for at least 2-3 years now, and pretty much have done EVERYTHING endgame wise with him. Sure, he can be an annoying dick with his "fan" "diss" "sike" stuff every once in a while, but he's a pretty damn good player. His SAM is pretty well geared from what I remember too (not as good as mine w) and tore stuff up with it.

If this was an NA shell, chances are he wouldn't be able to make events too often. However, this being an EU shell, I think he'll do quite fine, I used to see him on a lot... during NA, so EU shouldn't be a problem. As to deleveling BLM to 69, there might be a reasoning to that, he obviously didn't want to play it after being forced to come every event as BLM... I mean seriously, it's SO boring, you can pretty much play it in your sleep.

I was on midgard from April 04 until August 08 and I've known seph for a long time, we were in a social LS (KoolAid) then Scrubs together after that. He has really good gear for his melee jobs and unlike most melee oriented characters he's not retarded. As you can see from the app he takes pride in his gear sets and does the best with what he can get. I wouldn't blame him for not talking about PV much, I'm still embarassed that I was in it frankly ('-') but that's besides the point.

You can't hate on someone for leaving an NA shell to join an EU one, the camp might have been at a good time, but the other events are not. Until you've been in an EU ls as an NA or a JP ls as an NA like I have you can't really judge other people on it until you see how hard it is to make times for yourself. Doing events at 4am when being a full time student isn't healthy or very fun.

I'd take him if I were you, simply because he has good playtime and good gear as well as knowledge of the game. He isn't someone you'd have to teach, so he could assimilate rather quickly. So yeah, if you want a good active member then I say take him. To be honest, whenever I have melee questions I send them to him on msn, because mages are my main and I know he's always up to date on the best.

Also, I wouldn't be quick to listen to what Shojin says. He may seem like he has a lot to present, but everything he tells you is basically from a second hand source. Like he said, he doesn't know him personally. Ram knows seph almost as long as I have, so I feel we'd be better judges than someone who goes off hearsay would be. And seph knows I don't hide how I feel about something, (Ram should too) so if seph was bad I wouldn't endorse him.

tl;dr Take him, he's worth your time.

Sephs alright, I got nothing against him, we never kicked him from zeus, he left cause he had to come BLM a lot, which we really lacked BLM then. If you wanna know anything about him, Koosjuh is the person to go too.
He did reapply to us, but we rejected due to the BLM delvling thing, but he did relvl it pretty much right after.

Anyway i'd recomend him, he's not a bad player at all, fully merited and knows his stuff.

Great player, good friend, and a fun player to hang around. He taught me a lot about SAM and even has pics of me in Shinsoku and /NIN from back in the days. lol I've merited with him, was in Vendetta and yeah I had planned to make an LS, but oh well, it didn't work out. Shit happens and school is more important for me. He knows his stuff. Needless to say, I don't really want him to leave Midgard but he'd do good in Chroma, promise.

Btw, Shojin, I asked one member who had told me she was most likely going to transfer servers anyways, and she did. Apologize for that, but once again, it's a game and things happen. Should've told you guys straight up about my plans, but I didn't, and sure, that's my fault. Anyways, good luck Sephkun, have fun.

Good player, good gear, but a little shakey on the trust side. I wouldn't trust him to stay in an LS very long once he gets what he wants, having been in 2 lses with him, but that's just my impression of him.

I was in the same LS's with Sephirothkun when I played on Midgard, I'm currently retired though.

He's a very experienced, seasoned and skilled player with awesome equips, with that said he doesn't have a high level of arrogance that some have. Takes his time while playing FFXI quite seriously and does not BS at events, never seen him aggro anything, attack anything that would wipe LS or pull any stunts to kill everyone. Professional.

He has earned all his equips and has never taken from LS or anyone else, that should be enough to at least give him a try.

He is one of the better players who think outside the box when you gotta think in your feet in situations like ballista or when things get ugly in a BCNM, KSNM, Nyzul Isle etc. He has achieved many things in the game and has exceptional gear and sheer skill to go with it. He is a very valuable player to have in a LS.

He is also a very funny, cool and grounded guy. He knows when to be serious and when not too. Sep isnt one of those people in endgame who got this alter ego and become this cocky/bitchy asshole who thinks they own you or think they're better then you.

People also say that he has BLM and doesnt play it. First off, I dont blame him or anyone for not playing BLM because that job is boring for some people. Knowing Sep, he is a melee guy, he needs a weapon to wack at something. Anyway, Midgar has become a really boring and shitty server. Everyone is leaving. For the leaders trying to accept him, talk to Sep personally about why he left. Im sure he has a good reason, everyone has a reason for leaving a LS. Dont listen to some of the yahoos in this forums who talk negative crap about people they dont even really talk to Sep when they are online. He has really bad LS hopping habit. Only join a LS because he wants something from them and will leave as soon as he gets what he wants or when he finds a better LS. I guess it doesn't really matter since 90% of the hardcore players are probably like him, but it's definitely not a trait I hold high regard for.

How many EU players are there on Midgard? Telling ppl you want to switch server because there are only 1-2 EU LS is laughable. It's more like 1-2 EU LS that will never take him (back) because of his notorious background. I don't normally comment on crossserver applicants but I know this guys for a long time. We were in the same NA LS for at least one year (was my very first endgame shell too) He used the same excuse everytime he left a LS. Also about his BLM story Shojin is right on money. Seph used to send me tell saying how he hates playing the job, delibrately sold his BLM gear and hide the fact that he has BLM when he applies to a new LS.

Want to know how he got Byakko pants? I believed he got kicked from zEUs (iirc) because he skipped Dynamis to con a group of RMT into fighting Byakko and promised to pay for them. He is the kind of guy will do anything to get what he wants. If your LS is capable of satisfying his greedy need I am sure you will be able to keep him interested. Otherwise be prepared to lose a member in few month time.

Sorry for the disrespect to zEUs and whatever other EU shells are in midgard, but HNM wise... Midgard is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind skill wise compared to other servers, this is over 5 years of Midgard vs 5 months of Bismarck and 2 weeks of Carbuncle.

I could see why he wants to transfer, quite a few of my friends have actually transferred and have not regretted it one bit.

I think you're overstating 'Notorious' background when you're only the second person to try and rant on the same subject for almost 2 paragraphs. Just because he left/got kicked from two linkshells (that pretty much kick anyone for not being able to make it to two events) does not mean he doesn't deserve a chance at a new gaming life on a new server.

I agree when people say Midgard has fallen into the dirtiest of mud, most have quit and went to WoW or hardly even login because of the BS or LS slowdown. To ask 'why would anyone want to leave Midgard' is like asking asking yourself why you're still not drinking human breast milk.
