So I just bought a 360 and want FFXI on it

I have no idea how to go about it, I have to buy the game for the disk or can I download it cus I already have an account? Does it have to be an EU version of the game? Anyone know where I can get a 2008 pack with all 4 expansions?

In the US they have the Vanadiel pack 08 for 19.99, but I'm pretty sure you would need an EU version for it to run on your 360. I know they have a similar pack for EU players. You do actually have to buy the game, you cannot just download it.

You need to buy both the Vana'diel 2008 collection for the 360, and the WotG expansion. You can't use your PC codes with the 360. I don't think there is a pack yet with all the expansions, it'll probably come out sometime in 2009 like all the others.

Provided you've already purchased FFXI and registered all expansion content up to and including WOTG, you would only need to obtain the discs to install it to your XBOX360. As far as I know, the easiest way to go about it would be to pickup the actual game, even though you don't need the Keys. Also, you don't need a Live Gold Account just a Silver Account, and it will bind your XBL Account to your POL Account. Basically, you can't use another persons 360 to play FFXI on unless you bring your information with you on a memory card, unlike the PC version where you can log in at any PC. I'm not aware of an easy way to just Download the game to your 360 HDD, but I wouldn't say it's not possible.

Looking at stuff like this:

looks like all are on one and I can't see a definition between US and EU anywhere, but I can buy this on amazon.co.uk so I assume they would see me an EU version? Seems the only way I can get the disks is if I buy them atm.

Just buy a used PAL copy from ebay.co.uk, you only need the disc
