New Wedding Formalwear for Male Characters! (12/16/2008)

From today, a new tuxedo for male characters has been added to the wedding service. The instructions on how to acquire a set are as follows:

Those who have yet to apply for wedding services:

Those who have yet to apply for the wedding service should fill in the appropriate section of the application form and indicate their desire to purchase a tuxedo.

Those with a pre-existing wedding reservation:

Even those who have already made a wedding reservation and confirmed a date can purchase a tuxedo. Simply prepare the 50,000 gil fee and consult with the Wedding Master at the pre-ceremony meeting on your wedding day.

Those who have already wed:

For a limited time, the NPC "Modiste" will appear at the locations listed below. Simply trade 50,000 gil to her while your wedding ring is stowed in any of your storage spaces (Gobbiebag, Mog Safe, Storage, Mog Locker, etc.) and you will be provided with your very own tuxedo set.
Ru'Lude Gardens (I-10)
Port San d'Oria (I-8 )
Port Bastok (L-8 )
Windurst Walls (G-6)
Modiste will be available at the above locations from midnight on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 (PST) until midnight on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 (PST).

Cautionary Notes

The wedding formalwear set for male characters comprises the two items listed below. Please ensure that you have sufficient room in your inventory when accepting the items.
Benedight Coat / Benedight Hose

* In the event that you trade the 50,000 gil fee without having sufficient inventory space, the NPC will accept the sum, but will not issue the items until you have sorted your inventory. In this case, an additional payment of 50,000 gil will not be required.

* Those who have misplaced their wedding ring are still able to obtain a tuxedo set. First, make the payment of 50,000 gil to the NPC in the manner mentioned above, and then make a GM call. After your eligibility has been confirmed, a tuxedo set will be presented to you. Please note, however, that under no circumstances can lost wedding rings be reissued. Please be reminded also that this method of acquiring a tuxedo set is available only while the NPC Modiste is present.

* Should either one or both items in the set be misplaced, replacements can be acquired by trading a further 50,000 gil to the NPC. Please note, however, that being EX items, only one benedight coat and pair of benedight hose can be in your possession at any given time. Therefore, players must discard both items in the set in order to be eligible to receive replacements.
