Setting up a old TV as another display

I have a TV thats about 10-11 years old in my room and so it uses RCA jacks. I ordered a S-Video to RCA cord from ebay and hooked it up. I turned the TV on, set it to the input signal and my video card doesn't pick up the TV at all =(
I have an 8800GT and I used the rigurous detection through nvidia's control panel but it just messed with my monitors swapping my resolution and desktop around and didn't end up doing anything with my TV.
Is this TV just too old to do anything with extra display wise? I don't want to do much with it, I just thought it might be cool to watch some low quality anime on it or something; I figured if I had an S-Video to RCA cord it would work alright.
    Maybe I'm missing something?

Edit: Oh, and I doubt it matters but I have two monitors set up already. On the 8800 there's two monitor slots as well as an S-Video. I really wouldn't think I would only be limited to two monitors, but that could be the case too maybe.

Windows only supports 2 displays a single PCI card. You'd either need to get a AGP card and hook it up to that, get a USB video adapter, or turn off one of the other displays.

    Wow seriously? That's lame.
    Oh well, thanks.
