Wintergrasp+patch=lolz

So each time we win Wintergrasp it resets, crashes the server, then changes who is defending/attacking and starts all over. Anyone else having this? haha

Just happened on Kilrogg, the second power traded hands, server went down.

We're keeping our buffs though, I have Tenacity, The tower 15% dmg bonus, 1st LT, Recruit and all other buffs from WG all at once.

This is getting fucking annoying. At least I'm grinding quests and not in an instance or anything but seriously, can Blizz not just shut down the Wintergrasp BG until they deliver a hotfix?

haha people were doin some the book quests in dalaran etc while server kept crashing since books respawned each time.

I just soorta sat in WG and got myself like...near 30 wg marks... makes me sad though that it was shutdown when ally own it.

I was only in it for the last two rounds before they suspended WG, but since Alliance won the last fight, we got the Vault and the vendor.

SO WG, Im kinda confused on the rules. Ive defended and lost, got 1 mark, won got 3 marksl. Ive assaulted and won 1 mark, lost and got 1 mark... so you only get 3 marks if you win while defending?

WG is my favorite BG, Im only lv62 so getting on a cannon and getting 2k honor in one battle is awesome.

i believe you get marks based on how much you actually did.
Not sure if it only counts your honor kills or what but basically, no matter what, if you enter WG and just afk you will only get one mark. I remember not getting many kills (not even the first rank up) and i only got 2 marks.

still not sure how it works exactly though... i don't remember if i get 3 marks while attacking, haven't done WG in a while...

You can get 3 either way. If you contribute more by killing demolishers/players you'll end up with more. I generally start by the keep and move out, then end up by the alliance FP and camp them to oblivion as the event ends.

yeah the more I do them the more I understand, ive gotten 2 marks so i figure it deoends on your level of activity

So um...how are people capping the orb before the keep doors are destroyed?

Not possible, even if you were to get inside the game won't allow you to cap it until the door is dead.

Otherwise we'd all sit in vault and take the orb 30 seconds into every match.

Heard something about logging off with a vehicle, you stay in it... when you login somehow. If you do that at a start of a match with a demolisher, you could win the game under 1min.
