Hard Disk Failure?

Okay I've had this HDD for about 4-5 months and about a month ago it started having trouble playing music with winamp. Every once in awhile the music would stop, the hard drive would click after a few seconds and the music would play again. I've got two different Hard Drives in my PC; one has all my music, anime and pictures on it. The other has the system installed with games and programs. I wasn't sure which one was clicking because programs (winamp) is on one and the music is on the other.

Well now it froze up the whole system completely then clicked and went back to normal. Which leads me to believe that it's the system HD that's the problem. (It's a Seagate 1TB, newegg had reviews saying they'd crap out after three months) I know I have to replace the HDD eventually, but about how much time do I have before it craps out completely?

I was just hoping that you had a drive issue. Seagate 1TB drives actually have a huge deadly firmware error that, if you don't fix, may cause your drive to go hardcore dead.

for information, patch (it probably isn't too late), and at the second link, a horrible process to maybe unbrick the drive.

If, hopefully, the drive is just having errors, toss SpinRite at it. It should find errors and correct them.
